Description
The Halo Diamant Oval Orthopedic Pet Bed has a unique oval shape with a luxurious faux fur top and woven herringbone bottom. Its outer edge is generously filled with shredded cooling gel memory foam and has a cooling gel memory foam center which lightly pulls heat away from the body so pets stay warm and cozy without overheating during the summer months.

While this product is soft and perfect for all dogs, it’s especially helpful for elderly pets as it can greatly reduce joint pain, improve mobility and provide much needed stress relief and comfort.

In addition to having a color matched slip resistant gripping gel on the bottom, they also have stitched woven handles for easy movement from one area to another and the most important part, the covers are washable! The pillow and the outer edge have washable covers that slip off, machine wash cold and delicate dry or hang dry! Don’t worry about flimsy zippers either; our zippers are strong and hold up great during washing. The pillows are perfectly fitted to stay in the bed but for those who have aggressive diggers, the pillows have snap closures to ensure they stay put.

Coming soon: If you’re worried about this bed not fitting in with seasonal or holiday décor, we are releasing colored covers! You will not need to repurchase the bed for a new look! You can repurchase the original color for a revived bed in the event it weathers from daily scratching and washing or you can change out the covers to match your home for every season!

When they feel overwhelmed, they comfort themselves by curling up and burying their bodies in any crease they can find. My 55lb dog has no preference and sleeps just as soundly in the XL bed as in the large bed. My 25lb mini loves whichever one of these beds is available. This has also decreased night time barking and separation anxiety greatly. Impressed is an understatement.

    I don’t usually leave reviews but I felt this could help others. I have a very large puppy. I needed something comfy with enough cushion for his weight as well as something big enough. This bed is perfect for him right now! I got the XL but I’m afraid he will grow out of it soon. I love that I can take off the cover and throw it in the wash!
    I accidentally pulled too hard when taking the cover off and I tore off the zipper. It’s quite a snug fit. I emailed customer service. They sent me over a new cover right away. It was spectacular service.

    Other than the fact my dog may grow out of this, it did take a long time to get fluffed up to its right size. That’s the only reason I’m giving it a 4 instead of a 5. It is the most luxurious bed and if they offered bigger sizing I’d purchase again.

    I couldn’t wait to receive it and give to my dog. As soon as I took it out of the package it was flat. It took about a week to get to the right fullness.

    My dog has separation anxiety and I got this in hopes that it will help with that when I leave her home alone. She’s been loving it so far. She takes naps in it during the day and sleeps in it at night time too. I’m glad I made this purchase.

    Where has this been all my life! I tried both the Unhide bed and this. Definitely prefer this one. I would only say it takes a while to fluff up and I did contact their customer service to see if that was normal. They recommended dryer to help it and that worked like a charm! Their customer service was so great. Very happy dog mom here!

    Took about 2 weeks to really fluff up and it stayed a little wrinkled but it’s super nice. Love the muted colors and fabric. I ran an iron across and the wrinkles came out.

    My dog loves this bed! I was hesitant to buy this since its more expensive than other dog beds I’ve owned and previous beds I’ve just replaced when they loose their cushion. I’ve also had issues with other “washable” beds getting worn out/deteriorating only after 1 wash, but so far I’ve been really impressed with this!

    I was honestly surprised by the luxuriousness & extremely high quality of this bed! It’s def worth every penny! After experiencing for myself the importance of a high-quality mattress leading to better rest and sleep, I wanted to find a nice bed for my dog too as she’s getting old. At first, I was hesitant because of the price point, but after doing lots of research and comparing other brands, Madison Portier seems to have the best quality and did a great job explaining in detail their “bed tech/spec”. My dog loved the bed right away and loves to lay there when I’m off doing chores which I’m not used to because she’s not really a “dog bed” dog. It’s also a beautiful bed with a simple design so it goes well with my minimalist decor!

You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers
The bed looks seamless and I can’t take off the cover. Where are the zippers?

The zippers are hidden in the inner seam of the bed. Pull out of the center cushion and reach into the seam! For more instruction, please watch Assembling Your Madison Portier Bed.

The foam is misshapen.
Don’t worry. Some settling or movement may occur on the outer edge from prolonged use or being held in a certain position for a long time. It’s easy to move around. Take off the cover. Squeeze and shift around the foam to get it back to its original shape. See the video link below for more instruction.
Can I put it in the dryer?
You can if your dryer has a delicate or extra low heat setting. We want to make sure your fabric stays in the best condition so our recommendation would be to air dry or low heat. We’ve tested our product and it does hold up extremely well in other settings but we wouldn’t recommend it for long term fabric preservation.
What if my dog doesn’t like the bed?

We know how pets can be. While we’re confident your pet will love it, if they don’t, do not hesitate to contact us or send an email to help@madisonportier.com and we’ll provide return instructions.

What is your return policy?

You may return the bed within 60 days of purchase. For returns, please complete the contact form or send an email to help@madisonportier.com.

Why did my bed arrive unassembled?
For the 2 largest sizes (large and extra large) we were unable to package them assembled however, this is an issue we’re working to resolve moving forward. Thanks for being patient with us as we navigate through these challenging logistical times.
When will you release the covers for purchase?
We’re hoping to release covers for sale separately as soon as we can! At this time, we do not have a firm date. Please email us if you need a cover sooner! We can try to arrange to get one for you as a specialty order.
The pillow snap came loose, what should I do?

We are so sorry! Please email us at help@madisonportier.com and we will find a solution for you. The snaps are not required for the pillow to stay put, they are simply an added layer of protection, however, quality and service are very important to us so we would be happy to help!

Where can I try a bed in person?
We are currently only selling online however, we are acquiring retail partners and will have more information to share on our site and on our social platforms soon!
